The little guy had a great summer accompanying us on our maritime road trips. He's pictured here taking in a spectacular Grand Manan sunrise, kicking back with a good book, and enjoying homemade key lime pie at Magnolias Grill in Lunenburg. Yum.

the best of summer

Surrounded by so much snow, I've been assembling some of my favorite photos from last summer. They're super cropped & super small, but you get the idea. It's a vast and varied experience in a nutshell. Somehow it all goes beautifully together.

knitting

The gigantic violet scarf is my first finished knit piece! Completed it last month in a couple weeks. Taught myself by following tutorials on YouTube. My usual responsibilities have been seriously neglected since picking up those beautiful bamboo needles. I need daily doses of vibrant color in these short dark days.
